Marlins Vs. Red Sox Final Score: Miami Falls 7-5 In Boston

The Miami Marlins made a trip to Boston to take on the Red Sox on Tuesday evening but walked away with a 7-5 loss. The Red Sox jumped on Mark Buehrle early, picking up two runs in the first inning and following that up in the second inning with two more runs. Buehrle lasted just five innings, giving up seven hits, six earned runs, and three home runs.

The Marlins offense actually got the scoreboard going first with a two-run home run by Logan Morrison, but after that struggled to keep up on the scoreboard. In fact, the only real offense the Marlins had was from Morrison, who knocked in all the runs for the Marlins picking up two more doubles in the game for RBIs.

Miami's bullpen couldn't hold however as Boston picked up a run in consecutive innings to hold on and win, 7-5.
