Marlins Vs. Red Sox: Can Miami Give Ricky Nolasco Some Run Support?

The Miami Marlins will try again to beat the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night, after dropping the series opener. Miami and Boston are revisiting their series from last week, in which the Sox took two of three, but this time the games are at Fenway.

Ricky Nolasco pitched a decent outing against Boston in his last start, but a bullpen collapse and a meager two runs of offensive support put him on the hook for the loss. Nolasco lost three of his last four starts, dropping him to 6-5 on the season with a 4.37 ERA.

Boston got a great outing from Felix Doubront in that same game. He struck out nine and allowed just two earned runs over seven innings for his seventh win of the season.

The game starts at 7:10 p.m. It will be broadcast on Fox Sports Florida.
