The Miami Marlins were able to get past the Colorado Rockies, 6-5, on Friday night at Coors Field. The Marlins' victory also snapped the Rockies' four-game winning streak.
The game was back-and-forth in the middle innings but Miami took control of the game in the sixth inning and managed to keep Colorado off the board for the remainder of the game.
Jose Reyes led the Marlins with a three-run home run. Carlos Lee, Giancarlo Stanton also homered, and both Carlos Lee and John Buck registered RBI doubles in the game.
Wade LeBlanc earned the win. The left-hander threw five innings and gave up nine hits and all five of the Rockies' earned runs in the game. Steve Cishek picked up the save, his eighth of the year
