The Marlins are going for their third consecutive victory, this time on the back of Josh Johnson, in an attempt to crawl out of the NL East cellar.
Emilio Bonifacio marks his return to the lineup following a brief stint on the DL with a thumb injury.
Johnson has pitched quite well as of late, but didn't get the run support needed for a win in his last start against the Phillies. He was credited with the loss after going eight innings and giving up one run on a leadoff home run by Jimmy Rollins.
Johnson has four quality outings in his last five starts, going 2-2 with a 1.60 ERA, 0.832 WHIP, and 33/9 K/BB ratio.
