Marlins Vs. Nationals Lineup: Brad Hand Hopes To Help Miami Win Game 1 Against Washington

In the first game of a twi-night doubleheader between the Miami Marlins and the Washington Nationals, the Marlins are looking for the opportunity to play spoiler against the Nationals. Given that they have won five of the last seven games they have played against the Nationals, the Marlins have a good chance to close the gap in the NL East.

The Marlins will send pitcher Brad Hand to the mound in hopes to take the first game and the momentum away from the Nationals. In the rest of the lineup, Gorkys Hernandez and Donovan Solano will swap batting positions from Thursday's game and Brett Hayes will catch for Hand.

The Nationals on the other hand will play game one without outfielder Bryce Harper. The Nationals also recalled pitcher John Lannan to start game one against Miami. Here is the rest of the Nationals' lineup.

The game is scheduled for a 4:05 p.m. first pitch from Nationals Park. Television coverage will be provided by Fox Sports Florida with radio coverage provided by WAXY 790 AM and WAQI 710 AM.
