MLB Trade Rumors: Carlos Lee Still Drawing Interest

There's still a chance that Miami Marlins slugger Carlos Lee could be wearing another uniform as teams continue to look to add a right-handed hitter to their lineup. Lee was acquired by the Marlins from the Houston Astros in July and was placed on waivers earlier this month, but it doesn't appear that he was claimed.

The 36-year-old does have the power to block deals to 14 teams as part of the terms of his current contract that expires at the end of the 2012 season. But if Lee wants to play for a squad that's bound for the playoffs once the regular season ends, a deal would have to be finalized by Friday.
