Marlins Vs. Nationals Preview: Mark Buehrle And Jose Reyes Looking To Add To Personal Streaks

The Miami Marlins and Washington Nationals split their Friday double-header on the first day of their four-game weekend set at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. In the first game, the Marlins fell 7-4 and in the second, the fish prevailed, 5-2.

On Saturday, Mark Buehrle gets the start on the mound for Miami and will be looking to win his 10th game of the season. Should he get the win it would mark his 12th straight season he's gone into double-digits in the win column which would tie him with C.C. Sabathia for the longest active streak.

The left-hander has struggled on the mound of late as he's not gone past five innings in his last three starts for the Marlins.

Miami short stop Jose Reyes will also be looking to add to his own streak. Reyes is currently on career-best 22-game hitting streak, the longest in the majors right now.
