The Miami Marlins will open a three-game weekend home series with the Cincinnati Reds on Friday night at 7:10 p.m. ET. Jacob Turner will take the mound for the Marlins against Bronson Arroyo and the Reds.

Turner is 1-3 on the season with a 6.44 ERA in six starts. The 21-year-old right-hander put together a solid start against the Nationals in his last outing, going six innings and giving up two runs on Sept. 7.

Arroyo comes into Friday's game with a 12-7 record and a 3.66 ERA. The righty is 5-0 in his last six starts. He last faced the Marlins in his first outing of the year back on Apr. 8, giving up ten hits and five runs in 6.1 innings.

The Reds are close to clinching the NL Central as they possess and 11 game lead with 18 to play. The Marlins are eliminated from the division crown, and are 13 games out of the final Wild Card spot.
