Reds Vs. Marlins Final Score: Miami Tops Cincinnati 6-4

The Miami Marlins got off to a fast start and ended up holding on for a 6-4 win over the Cincinnati Reds. Mark Buehrle went 7⅔ innings while earning the win, giving up four earned runs and striking out seven. Steve Cishek struck out two in the ninth inning for his 14th save of the season.

Giancarlo Stanton got the Marlins started early with a two-run triple in the first inning against Johnny Cueto, who only lasted 4⅓ innings while giving up six earned runs. Carlos Lee had three hits and three runs batted in, leading the Marlins in both categories.

Despite being out of playoff contention, the Marlins will go for the sweep of the first place Reds on Sunday at 1:10 p.m. ET at Marlins Park.
