Marlins Vs. Braves Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule, Probable Starters

On Wednesday the Marlins will try to win their second consecutive home series. To do so, they'll have to beat Kris Medlen and the surging Atlanta Braves.

No starter has been harder to beat in the second half than Kris Medlen, who, since joining the Braves rotation in July, is 7-0 with a ridiculous 0.87 ERA. In fact, the Braves have racked up 20 consecutive wins in games that he starts, dating to May 2010.

So Miami might have a tough time scoring runs, but they'll send Josh Johnson to the hill in search of his ninth win. Johnson was dominant the last time he faced the Braves, allowing just one hit and no walks in six innings, while striking out nine.

Atlanta hopes to sure up a playoff birth soon, as their magic number to clinch a wild-card spot is currently seven.

Wednesday's game will start at 7:10, and air on FSFL.
