The Marlins and Nationals go head-to-head in a three-game weekend series that begins on Friday night. Miami is coming off a four-game series split with the Brewers, which Miami won the first and last games of.

Washington has more at stake in this one, since the Marlins are not in the National League playoff picture. But the Nationals are almost sure to coast to the playoffs this season.

As for Friday, it will be Stephen Strasburg's (15-6, 2.94 ERA) final home start as the Nationals play it safe with the young pitcher who recovered from Tommy John surgery last season. Jacob Turner (1-3, 7.33 ERA) will start for the Marlins.

Date/Time: Friday, Sept. 7, 7:10 p.m. ET

Location: Nationals Park
