Marlins Vs. Nationals Game Preview: Miami Sends Mark Buehrle To The Mound On Saturday

The Miami Marlins and Washington Nationals played a thrilling game in their weekend series opener on Friday night, but it would be the Marlins who emerged victorious, 9-7. Jose Reyes hit two triples in the ballgame and sealed the victory with a hit in the top of the 10th inning.

The series resumes from Nationals Park on Saturday afternoon, and the Marlins will be looking to take their second straight game from the Nats.

Miami will send Mark Buehrle to the mound to face-off against the Nationals Ross Detwiler. Buehrle enters the game with a .500 record at 12-12 and a 3.73 ERA. The left-hander had previously been on a three-game winning streak before taking a loss to the Mets last Sunday.
