The Cavaliers, led by Kyrie Irving's 18 points, were the aggressors, getting to the free throw line 19 times. Orlando had just five trips to the stripe. The Magic committed 15 fouls compared to just seven for the Cavaliers.
E'Twaun Moore and Glen Davis each scored seven first half points for the Magic. DaQuan Jones, an undrafted rookie from Miami, who was inserted into the starting lineup, had two points, four rebounds and two assists.
Rookie Tyler Zeller scored nine points and grabbed four rebounds in just 11 minutes off off the bench for the Cavaliers. The North Carolina product was a perfect four-of-four from the field.
