The Orlando Magic hit the road to continue their winning ways as they take on the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night.
After losing their first four contests of the preseason, the Magic have posted a pair of home wins over the Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs to move to 2-4. Glen Davis keyed Orlando's scoring efforts in the wins, scoring 38 points on 65 percent shooting over the two games.
In the win over the Spurs, first-round draft pick Andrew Nicholson scored 18 points on 7-8 shooting in just 18 minutes of play. The 6'9 forward out of Saint Bonaventure scored 13 points in 16 minutes against Indiana as well.
The Grizzlies are 3-3 after alternating wins and losses with each game of the preseason. Memphis star Rudy Gay has been struggling with his shot, hitting on just 11-45 from the field in his last three games. Point guard Mike Conley, Jr. has been the Grizzlies' consistent leading score over that same stretch, averaging 16 points per game.
