Celtics vs. Magic final score: Boston wins 116-110 in overtime

The Orlando Magic pushed the Boston Celtics to overtime, but came up just short on Sunday night, 116-110.

The Orlando Magic forced the Boston Celtics into overtime, but came up just short on Sunday night, 116-110. Kevin Garnett led all scorers with 24 points and 10 rebounds, and Rajon Rondo was one rebound shy of a triple double. The loss snapped the Magic's brief two-game winning streak.

The Celtics outrebounded the Magic 51-42, and also took advantage of 18 Orlando turnovers. Paul Pierce put up 23 points and five rebounds, and Rondo finished with 15 points, 16 assists and nine rebounds.

J.J. Redick led the Magic with 21 points. Jameer Nelson had 20 points and five rebounds before fouling out, and both Glen Davis and Arron Afflalo finished the game with 15 points. Davis had seven rebounds, but only shot 3-12 from the floor. Afflalo added chipped in with seven assists.

The Magic next play on Wednesday, Nov. 28, when the host the San Antonio Spurs. They finish their five-game homestand on Friday, Nov. 30, against the Brooklyn Nets.
