The Orlando Magic lost for the first time this season, dropping a game to the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night, 99-93. It was a back-and-forth game with the Magic in control for most of the night, but the Bulls gained momentum in the fourth quarter. The Bulls were still only up by four points with under a minute to left to play.

At that point, it became a free throw shooting contest, as the clock favored Chicago and forced the Magic to foul.

Arron Afflalo led the Magic with 28 points, five rebounds, five assists, a block and a steal. E'Twaun Moore added 17 points, while Glen Davis and Nikola Vucevic each chipped in 16. J.J. Redick scored 10 points off the bench for the Magic.

Luol Deng led the Bulls with 23 points, eight rebounds and four assists. Joakim Noah had 20 points and nine rebounds.

The Magic are now 2-1 on the season.
