The Magic look to put an end to their two game losing streak.

Mike DiNovo-US PRESSWIRE

The Orlando Magic will look to put an end to their two game losing streak when they host the Brooklyn Nets Friday night.

After defeating the Denver Nuggets and Phoenix Suns at home to start the season, the Magic have dropped road contests against the Chicago Bulls and Minnesota Timberwolves.

After starting the season with a victory over the Toronto Raptors, the Nets have been defeated by the Minnesota Timberwolves and Miami Heat. The Nets blew a 22-point lead against the Timberwolves and were beaten by the Heat by 30, so they clearly have a bad taste in their mouth.

Both teams have been bothered by injuries. Hedo Turkoglu (hand) should be out about a month while Jameer Nelson (groin, hamstring) has missed the last three games. E'Twaun Moore continues to start in Nelson's place while Josh McRoberts replaced DeQuan Jones in the starting lineup Wednesday.

Gerald Wallace (ankle) has missed the last two games for the Nets. Two-time former Magic wing Keith Bogans started in his place.

Projected Starters:

Brooklyn Nets

  • Brook Lopez
  • Kris Humphries

Orlando Magic

  • Glen Davis

The Line: Brooklyn - 2.5
