The Orlando Magic and Utah Jazz played a tough and close game on Sunday night, but the Jazz will go home for Christmas with a 97-93 win. J.J. Redick hit a three with 11 seconds remaining to make it a one point game, but the Magic weren't able to get over the hump. It's Orlando's second straight loss following a four game winning streak. They were without Glen Davis on Sunday, who missed the game with a shoulder injury.
Arron Afflolo led the Magic with 20 points, and Nikola Vucevic had 16 points and 16 rebounds. The team shot 50% from the field, and a robust 45% from three point range. They also outrebounded the Jazz 45-36, but turned the ball over 19 times.
Paul Millsap led the Jazz with 18 points and seven rebounds, and Gordon Heyward chipped in with 17 points. Al Jefferson had 12 points and nine rebounds, and Derrick Favors finished with 12 points as well.
The Magic play again on Wednesday, the day after Christmas, when they take on the New Orleans Hornets at home.
