Orlando Magic center Gustavo Ayon received a flopping warning recently, according to Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel.
Ayon received the warning after flopping against the New Orleans Hornets and center Robin Lopez in a game Dec. 26.
The warning is Ayon's first, meaning he won't be fined. However, if he flops again and is caught, he'll be fined $5,000. If he does it a third time, it will cost him $10,000. A fourth flop is $15,000 and a fifth flop is $30,000. He could be suspended were he deemed to have flopped a sixth time.
Ayon is one of 14 players who have been warned for flopping this season, according to Robbins.
Ayon, 27, is in his first season with the Magic. In 29 games this season, he is averaging 3.6 points and 3.9 rebounds per game. The 6'10 center out of Mexico has primarily come off the bench this season.
The Magic and Ayon host the Miami Heat at 5 p.m. ET Monday.
