The Orlando Magic will finish their west coast road trip Sunday night when they take on the Phoenix Suns at the US Airways Center. The Magic started the road trip with victories over the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors, but then dropped consecutive contests with the Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings. They enter with a record of just 7-12. The Suns lost to the Los Angeles Clippers Saturday for their sixth straight defeat. They enter with a record of 7-14.
These two teams met in Orlando back on Nov. 4. Orlando scored 69 second half points en route to a 115-94 victory. J.J. Redick led the way with 24 points.
Phoenix is led by point guard Goran Dragic, who is averaging 15.1 points and 6.4 assists per game. Former Magic big man Marcin Gortat is averaging just 11.0 points and 7.9 rebounds per game, a far cry from the 15.4 points and 10.0 rebounds he averaged last season.
