Magic Vs. Trail Blazers Score Update: Orlando Leads 62-50 At Halftime

The Orlando Magic returned to action on the West Coast on Wednesday evening after a two-day layoff to take on the Portland Trail Blazers. The Magic are looking to win their second game in a row out west and currently hold a 62-50 lead over the Trail Blazers at halftime. The Magic held a 36-22 lead after the first quarter and it looked like they might run away with it, but thanks to the play of LaMarcus Aldridge and Nicolas Batum, the Trail Blazers battled back, outscoring the Magic in the second quarter. At Halftime, Aldridge leads the team with 12 points and 3 rebounds.

For the Magic, a handfull of players have got the Magic their 12 points lead at the half. Ryan Anderson and Jason Richardson picked up 11 and 10 points respectively, with Anderson adding 6 rebounds. Center Dwight Howard has just six points, but he's picked up eight boards. J.J. Redick added some three-point scoring off the bench, scoring eight points and hitting on 2 of his 4 three-point attempts. The Magic are in control of the game, but the Trail Blazers are clearly game to battle back.
