The Orlando Magic traveled to California to take on the Sacramento Kings to kick off a four game road trip. The Magic got off to a slow start, trailing the Kings after the first quarter 21-19. Orlando took the lead into halftime however after having a big second quarter and scoring 30 points to take a 49-47 lead.
The Magic picked up the pace in the second half holding the lead into the fourth quarter. Orlando was able to pull away in the fourth quarter thanks to Dwight Howard making his free throws and a nice three-point shot by Ryan Anderson to help put the game out of reach. Howard ended the game with just five points on the night, playing only 20 minutes dealing with fouls. Jason Richardson ended the night leading the Magic in points with 22, including hitting three shots from the three-point line. Ryan Anderson also picked up 19 points and Glen Davis added another 20 points from the bench.
Tyreke Evans had a nice night for the Kings in the loss, picking up 28 points and eight assists. Both J.J. Hickson and DeMarcus Cousins had double-double's in the loss, but the Kings offense just couldn't do enough at the end as the Magic win on the road, 104-97
