In their first big showdown of the second half of the NBA season, the Orlando Magic lead the Oklahoma City Thuder 53-50 after 24 minutes at Amway Center. The Thunder are considered the darlings of the NBA, and a team many pick to win the Western Conference and make the finals. But despite a relatively quiet night from All-Star Dwight Howard tonight, the Magic are shooting well and holding their own against the touted Thunder.
Orlando has hit six of 12 attempts from behind the arc and shot 53 percent from the floor for a solid offensive first half. Ryan Anderson is the only Magic player in double figures, hitting two treys and finishing with 10 points. Howard has just nine points and three boards, but is not in foul trouble. I
