The NBA trade deadline is at 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon and what is still the biggest story is whether or not Orlando Magic forward Dwight Howard will be traded or remain with the team through the rest of the season. Orlando's final game before the trade deadline is Wednesday night is against the San Antonio Spurs.
The Magic are riding a three game winning streak and have won five of their last six games, including a 104-98 overtime win on Tuesday night against the Miami Heat. Howard scored 24 points and grabbed 25 rebounds in the victory.
Guard Jason Richardson is still day-to-day with a sprained ankle and it is still unknown if he will be available for Wednesday's game. If he is injured, guards Ryan Anderson and J.J. Redick are going to need to play great games to keep the Magic's hot streak going.
The game is scheduled for an 8:30 p.m. start from AT&T Center in San Antonio. Television coverage will be provided by Sunshine Sports.
