The scheduled makers may have had some notion that the Orlando Magic would get the Dwight Howard mess sorted out just in time for a pair of tough games following the NBA trade deadline. After losing to the Miami Heat on Sunday night, the Magic host the Chicago Bulls, owners of the league's best record, on Monday night.
One silver lining for the Magic is that Chicago will likely be without reigning MVP Derrick Rose. C.J. Watson started in place of Rose in the Bulls' last game, picking up 20 points in a win over Philadelphia.
Orlando beat Chicago by a score of 99-94 the last time these two teams played on March 8. Dwight Howard had a double-double in that game. The Magic held Rose to just six-for-22 from the field.
Tip off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. Eastern at the Amway Center in Orlando, FL. The game will be nationally televised on TNT.
