Magic Vs. Cavaliers Preview: Orlando Hopes To Pick Up Steam Against Struggling Cleveland Team

The Magic got back to their winning ways against Phoenix. Can they keep winning against the Cleveland Cavaliers?

Presswire

The Orlando Magic rebounded with a 10-point victory over the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night. They can start building more momentum towards the postseason as they play the Cleveland Cavaliers at the Amway Center Friday night.

Dwight Howard scored 28 points and grabbed 16 rebounds while guard Ryan Anderson scored 29 points on 7-of-12 from three-point range in the victory over Phoenix. The Magic are 12-1 when Anderson scores more than 22 points in a game.

The Magic won their only other game with the Cavaliers this season 104-92 on Feb. 3 in Orlando. To add to that, the Cavaliers have given up an average of 104.6 points per game in their last 12. The Cavaliers will need to have a great defensive game in addition to a great game by rookie Kyrie Irving to try and cool off the Magic.

The game is scheduled for a 7 p.m. tip off with television coverage on Fox Sports Florida
