The Orlando Magic need to be more consistent going forward as the playoffs approach. After scoring a season high 117 points in a victory against Toronto on Monday, the Magic followed it up with a 108-86 loss to the New York Knicks on Wednesday.

The Magic return home on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks who are coming off a lopsided loss of their own, 106-85 against the Miami Heat on Thursday. Dallas has won five games in a row in Orlando but are on a cold streak having lost three of their last five games. Each of those losses came by at least 16 points.

Dwight Howard had probably his worst performance of the season against the Knicks, being held to 12 points and five rebounds the entire game. He cannot have that kind of performance if the Magic are going to win on Friday.

The game is scheduled for tip off at 8 p.m. from the Amway Center in Orlando. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN, locally on Fox Sports Florida and streaming live on ESPN3.com
