Magic Vs. Raptors Score Update: Dwight Howard And Ryan Anderson Spot Orlando A 5-Point Halftime Lead

The Orlando Magic lead the Toronto Raptors 43-38 after one half at Air Canada Centre in Toronto. The Magic are getting it done on the defensive end and offensive glass thus far. Dwight Howard leads all scorers with 16 points, but the big man is 0 for the three from the charity stripe. As a team, the Magic are just two of eight from the line, keeping the game much closer than it should be. Playing alongside Howard in the frontcourt is Ryan Anderson, who continues his breakout season on Monday night. Through 24 minutes, Anderson has nine points and 11 boards, including an ample seven boards on the offensive glass.

The Magic have effectively bottled up Jose Calderon so far, holding the Spaniard to just two points on one of five from the field. Calderon makes the Raptors go, and when Toronto has been able to win this season, it's usually a result of their point guard controlling the action and hitting from outside. Demar Derozan leads Toronto with 14 points but has already jacked up 12 shots.

Orlando will look to improve their free-throw shooting in the second half and extend the lead to capture their 25th win of the season.
