The Orlando Magic won their second straight on Monday night with a 92-88 win at Air Canada Centre over the Toronto Raptors. The Magic got a dominant performance from their All-Star franchise center. Dwight Howard finished with 36 points despite going just four of 14 from the free-throw line. He also grabbed 13 rebounds, dominating the paint against an overmatched Toronto frontline.
Howard's partner in the frontcourt, Ryan Anderson, also had another breakout game, grabbing seven offensive rebounds in the first half alone. Anderson was off from behind the arc but finished with 13 rebounds and 19 points. Both Howard and Anderson were crucial in the win, as the Magic shot just 32 percent from three-point range and Stan Van Gundy played a limited seven-man rotation.
Orlando will now head back south and go for three in a row against the lowly Charlotte Bobcats on Tuesday night.
