The Orlando Magic got a big scare in a Sunday night win over the Cleveland Cavalier. Forward Glen Davis fell to the floor clutching his right knee. He hyperextended it. Fortunately, the injury is apparently a minor one, according to Dan Savage with the team, and Davis will be a game-time decision for Monday's battle with the Sixers.
An MRI revealed that Davis has a mild hyperextension. He escaped any structural damage which could have been a real problem for the Magic with the playoffs just over the horizon. Daniel Orton will start in Davis' place.
Orlando is already without Dwight Howard who has a herniated disc in his back. Howard is out indefinitely. Hedo Turkoglu is also out for the near future.
Orlando hosts the Sixers on Monday night, a team they have beaten twice in three games this season.
