Magic Vs. 76ers Final Score: Orlando Ends Losing Streak, Beats Philly 88-82

The Orlando Magic put together a stellar second half of basketball, rallying from an eight point halftime deficit to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers by a score of 88-82. It was a much needed win for an Orlando team that had lost five straight games in the midst of the Stan Van Gundy/Dwight Howard drama that engulfed the team in recent days.

Glen Davis and Howard did the bulk of the damage on the interior for the Magic in this one. Davis lead the way with 23 points and 12 rebounds. Howard rebounded from a terrible game against the New York Knicks on Thursday night, scoring 20 points on 12-for-18 shooting and bringing down 22 rebounds. The Magic dominated the glass, outrebounding the 76ers by a 53-41 margin.

Thaddeus Young paced the 76ers with 20 points, while Jodie Meeks and Lou Williams chipped in with 16 and 15 points, respectively.

The Magic (33-23) will try and win their second in a row when they face the Detroit Pistons on Monday evening at the Amway Center.
