Dwight Howard Trade Will Be New GM's First Job

While the Orland Magic were reported to have met with three general manager candidates earlier this week, they've narrowed their list to two, according to a report. The new GM's first task? Trading Dwight Howard.

As Brian K. Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel tweeted this morning:

Bower is the former general manager of the New Orleans Hornets (two stints: 2002-2003 and 2005-2010). Most notably, he grabbed Chris Paul with the No. 3 pick in the 2005 NBA Draft. He also coached the Hornets for the majority of the 2009-10 season after firing Byron Scott.

Lindsey has been the vice president and assistant general manager of the San Antonio Spurs since 2007. Before San Antonio, he was the vice president of basketball operations/player personnel with the Houston Rockets.
