Magic Coaching Search: Jeff Hornacek One Of Six To Interview

The main focus for the Orlando Magic right now is probably squarely on a certain somebody named Dwight Howard. However, Magic GM Rob Hennigan is early in the process of finding a new head coach to deal with what will likely be an entirely new looking roster of young players.

Among the potential coaches now is former Suns, 76ers and Jazz player Jeff Hornacek, who was reportedly interviewed for the head coaching job in Orlando, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Hornacek has served as an assistant coach for the Jazz since the 2007-08 season after a 14-year career in the NBA that spanned from 1986 to 2000.

Also reportedly receiving interviews are Brian Shaw of the Pacers, Mike Malone of the Warriors, Quin Snyder of the Lakers, Lindsey Hunter of the Suns and Jacque Vaughn of the Spurs.
