Dwight Howard Trade Rumors: Nets Want Wednesday Resolution, Says Report

The ongoing saga of Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic died down somewhat on Tuesday. A possible three- or four-team deal earlier in the week fell apart, while a few other rumors involving Howard filled the void. On Wednesday morning, Ric Bucher of ESPN reported that the Brooklyn Nets will "resolve" their pursuit of Howard one way or another on Wednesday.

The Nets want the matter resolved so that they can deal with other business, namely signing Brook Lopez.

Howard had been adamant in recent weeks about the Nets being his preferred destination. In fact, the disgruntled Orlando forward has said that the Nets are the only team he would sign a contract extension with to play there beyond next season.
