2012 NBA Summer League: Celtics, Thunder And 76ers Come Away With Victories

The Boston Celtics took down the Indiana Pacers in the first game of the day Wednesday.

Rookie Jared Sullinger scored 16 points and pulled down eight rebounds while E'Twaun Moore (15 points), Jamar Smith (12), Kris Joseph (12), JuJuan Johnson (11) and Dionte Christmas (10) also scored in double figures.

Lance Stephenson had a game-high 19 points and rookie Mason Plumlee added 18 points and eight rebounds.

The Oklahoma City Thunder dominated the Detroit Pistons 83-62 behind Lazar Hayward, Garrett Temple and Reggie Jackson, who scored 15 points each.

Former Florida State forward Ryan Reid finished with six points and four rebounds.

Austin Daye, the most experienced player in Orlando this week, had 18 points on seven shots. Second -year point guard Brandon Knight finished with 11 points and rookie center Andre Drummond had his best day so far, scoring 10 points and and pulling down nine rebounds.

In the third game of the day, the Philadelphia 76ers defeated the Brooklyn Nets 79-71.

Justin Holiday, the older brother of Jrue, finished with 18 points and six rebounds. Former South Florida center Solomon Jones had 10 points and four rebounds.

The Sixers continue to be without both of their first round picks, Moe Harkless and Arnett Moultrie, due to injuries.

MarShon Brooks led the Nets with 18 points while Tornike Shengelia added 17. Rookie Tyshawn Taylor finished with 12.

The Orlando Magic and Utah Jazz will play the final game of the day at 5:00 pm EST.
