Reports of Dwight Howard's desire to join the Brooklyn Nets have been an open secret for some time now, as subsequent reports continue to link Howard to the team. Orlando Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said Monday morning that Howard had mentioned to him a preference for being traded to Brooklyn.

Howard, whose current contract makes him a free agent after this season, told Yahoo Sports that there is only one team he would sign an extension with if traded there, which most believe to be the Nets.
