Dwight Howard Rumors: Warriors Out Of The Mix For Magic Center

Cross another name off the list of teams pursuing Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard. Scott Howard-Cooper at NBA.com's Hang Time blog reports that Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob says his team is not likely to get involved again for Howard.

Said Lacob of the Warriors' interest in Howard:

"I doubt it. I never say never. But we have somebody called Andrew Bogut. He is, in our opinion, one of the three best centers in the whole NBA, and in most people's opinion. And he wants to be here and is a great fit. We think we have a really nice nucleus now going forward."

That report comes on the heels of the Nets dropping out of the Howard sweepstakes on Monday afternoon, following a trade with Atlanta to get Joe Johnson. Other teams said to be interested include Houston and the Los Angeles Lakers.
