Dwight Howard Trade Rumors: Nets Still In Trade Discussions For Magic Center, Per Report

Upon finalizing a trade with the Hawks for All-Star guard Joe Johnson, many reports, including one from ESPN's Chris Broussard, indicated that the Brooklyn Nets had given up their pursuit of All-Star center Dwight Howard of the Magic. However that is no longer the case, as the framework for a deal to send Howard to Brooklyn is already in place, according to Broussard.

In a series of tweets, Broussard reported that a trade has been discussed that would send Howard to the Nets in exchange for Brook Lopez, Kris Humphries, Marshon Brooks and three first round picks in 2013, 2015 and 2017.

The trade would be made with the intent to give the Nets a "big three" of their own with Howard, Johnson and Deron Williams, who have a combined 15 All-Star Game appearances.
