The subject of trading Dwight Howard has already demanded billions and billions of bytes of digital ink and dead tree column inches as beat writers and bloggers cover and speculate about the disgruntled Orlando Magic center. Given all those resources it only makes sense that the latest Howard trade rumors involved a complex web of three, possibly four, teams along with more than a dozen players and draft picks.
Adrian Wojnarowski offered a glimpse of the latest scenario via Twitter:
Tentacles of Nets-Magic talks covering 14 players, 3 teams w/ possible 4th locking in to take MarShon Brooks to provide pick, sources tell Y— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) July 9, 2012
Those teams are reported to be the Nets, where Howard would end up, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The deal could go down on Monday. The Magic brass is reportedly meeting to discuss the particulars Monday morning says Alex Kennedy of Hoops World.
