<p>The <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-football/teams/miami-hurricanes" class="sbn-auto-link">Miami Hurricanes</a> started the second half quickly after entering halftime tied 34-34 with Wake Forest. The Canes began the second half with a 24-10 run to jump out to a big lead over the Demon Deacons. The Canes continued to build on to that lead and just pounded Wake Forest in the second half of the game. <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/53422/kenny-kadji" class="sbn-auto-link">Kenny Kadji</a> ended the day with 18 points and 5 rebounds while <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/99807/durand-scott" class="sbn-auto-link">Durand Scott</a> also finished up with 18 points and 7 rebounds.</p>
<p>The Deacons just couldn't get their offense going in the second half enough to catch up after the Hurricanes jumped out to a big lead. <a href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/99827/c-j-harris" class="sbn-auto-link">C.J. Harris</a> led the Deacons in scoring at halftime with 10 points, but he scored just four more points in the second half to end the day leading Wake Forest in scoring with 14 points. Chase Fisher added on 12 points in the loss for the Deacons.</p>

The 'Canes held an early lead, but at halftime it's all tied up 34-34. For the Hurricanes, <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/53422/kenny-kadji">Kenny Kadji</a> leads the way in scoring once again picking up 11 points at halftime. <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/99807/durand-scott">Durand Scott</a> add three steals to go with his nine points in the first half, while Malcom Grant picked up six points and five assists.</p>

<p>The Miami Hurricanes host the Wake Forest Demon Deacons Saturday (1 p.m. on RSN) in an Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball game at the BankUnited Center.</p> <p>The <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/teams/miami-hurricanes">Miami Hurricanes</a> will look to snap a two-game losing streak Saturday, as they host the Wake Forest Demon Decans in Atlantic Coast Conference men's basketball game (1 p.m. on RSN) at the BankUnited Center in Coral Gables, FL. The Hurricanes (15-9, 6-5 ACC) have dropped two straight games to nationally ranked programs and can get back on track with a victory over one of the ACC's cellar-dwellers, the Demon Decans (12-14, 3-9).</p>
<p>On Wednesday, Miami lost to the No. 7-ranked <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/teams/north-carolina-tar-heels">North Carolina Tar Heels</a>, 73-64, as they held the nation's highest scoring team (83.5 points per game) to well below their season average. Four Canes' ended the game in double-figures, led by <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/99807/durand-scott">Durand Scott's</a> 15 points. <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/players/53422/kenny-kadji">Kenny Kadji</a> tallied nine of his 13 points in the first half.</p>
<p>Last Saturday, the Hurricanes had their five-game winning streak snapped by No. 17 <a class="sbn-auto-link" href="http://www.sbnation.com/ncaa-basketball/teams/florida-st-seminoles">Florida St. Seminoles</a>, 64-59.</p>
<p>Overall, Miami is 5-8 against Wake Forest, however, the Hurricanes have beaten the Demon Deacons in four of their last five meetings. Last season, Miami edged Wake Forest, 74-73.</p>
