The Miami Heat had a four-game winning streak snapped on Sunday night in a showdown with the Western Conference-leading Oklahoma City Thunder. The Heat gave up plenty of easy buckets to the Thunder, who shot 53 percent from the floor and enjoyed a comfortable double-digit lead for much of the second half. Oklahoma City closed it out with a 103-87 win.

Dwyane Wade led all Miami scorers with 22 points. Wade drilled three three-pointers in the second half which kept Miami from being blown off the floor. But as a team, the Heat shot just 32 percent from behind the arc and could not match the offensive firepower of OKC. In addition to the poor shooting from downtown, Miami was careless with the basketball and committed 21 turnovers.

Miami will stay out on the road and travel to Indiana where they will face the Pacers on Monday night on the second night of a back-to-back.

The Miami Heat are trying to keep pace with the Oklahoma City Thunder on Sunday night, as the Western Conference's best team is shooting the lights out and enjoyed a double-digit lead for much of the third quarter. But Dwyane Wade is doing his best to keep the Heat in it, hitting three three-pointers in the third quarter, including a 68-foot heave from his chest that went right through the cylinder to cut the Thunder's lead to 11 heading into the final quarter. Wade is going toe-to-toe with Kevin Durant and has a team-high 22 points through three quarters.

The Miami Heat are looking to make a statement on Sunday night against the top team in the Western Conference.

The Miami Heat are looking to make a statement on Sunday night in Oklahoma City against the Western Conference-leading Thunder. The Thunder were on fire in the first 24 minutes and raced out to a 60-49 lead at halftime. Oklahoma City has gotten consistent penetration and a slew of easy buckets in the paint, finishing 67 percent from the floor.

Kevin Durant was unstoppable in the first, hitting eight of ten attempts from the floor and hitting both of his three-pointers. He finished with a game-high 18 points while Kendrick Perkins was the largest beneficiary of the easy buckets in the paint, adding 12 points in support of KD. While Russell Westbrook has yet to get going, James Harden added 14 points off the bench.

LeBron James and Dwyane Wade were the only Miami players in double figures in the first half, with Chris Bosh just not getting involved in the action. Newly-signed Ronny Turiaf had almost as many touches as Bosh. James finished with 11 points while Wade had 13 points. But Miami was sloppy on the offensive end, committing 11 turnovers which let the Thunder jump out to a double-digit lead in an otherwise impressive offensive first half for both teams.
