The Orlando Magic clinched a playoff spot on Sunday night, but in the victory they may have lost forward Glen Davis for a couple of games due to a hyperextended knee.

Orlando is already playing without center Dwight Howard, but losing Davis could be another big blow to the team. While Davis has been very hot and cold on the season, he's still a big body off the bench which is an area the Magic have been lacking, especially with Howard out of the line up.

The Orlando Magic held a 13-point lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers at halftime and continued to just build on that lead in the second half, even without star center Dwight Howard. In his absence, point guard Jameer Nelson shouldered to load scoring, picking up 21 points, 9 assists, and 7 rebounds on the night.

The Magic also got a good showing from Jason Richardson, who picked up 16 points, and 13 more points from J.J. Redick and Earl Clark off the bench. Outside of Antwan Jamison's 21 points, the Cavs struggled to put up points and keep up with the Magic's offense.

With the win, the Orlando Magic clinch a spot in the 2012 NBA Playoffs.

Although they are without Dwight Howard, the Orlando Magic are having no trouble with the Cleveland Cavaliers, leading 43-30 at halftime.

Although they are without a scorer in double-figures at the halfway point and shooting just 38.7 percent from the floor, the Magic are playing stellar defense, holding the ice-cold Cavs to just 28 percent shooting including a 1-for-9 mark from behind the arc.

Jameer Nelson and J.J. Reddick are tied with eight points each for the team lead. Only two Cavaliers have scored more than three points, with Antwan Jamison scoring eight points and Manny Harris scoring five.

The Orlando Magic (34-25), without star Dwight Howard for a fourth straight game, head to Cleveland (20-38) Sunday evening hoping to snap a two-game losing streak.

The Orlando Magic (34-25), without star Dwight Howard for a fourth straight game, head to Cleveland (20-38) Sunday evening hoping to snap a two-game losing streak. The Magic currently have a eight game winning streak against the Cavaliers, winning by 10.8 points per game in those contests.

Orlando has lost four of their last five games without Howard, including back-to-back defeats to the Washington Wizards and Atlanta Hawks. In those two matchups, the Magic shot just 37.6 percent while allowing their opponents to shoot 50.3 percent from the floor.

In Howard's absence, Glen Davis has stepped up his game for Orlando. Since joining the starting lineup seven games ago, "Big Baby" has averaged 18.7 points and 11.4 rebounds per game, though Davis in no way brings the same defensive presence to the floor as Howard.
