B.J. Daniels Injury Update: South Florida Quarterback Will Have More Tests On Shoulder

The South Florida Bulls lost to the Miami Hurricanes this past weekend 6-3, but an even bigger loss might have been quarterback B.J. Daniels, who injured his shoulder during that game. According to Greg Auman of the St Petersburg Tribune, Daniels will have some more tests done on that shoulder this week, but that South Florida is trying to make back up plans in case he isn't able to go on the short week.

Daniels is still in play for Friday morning's home game against Louisville, though the Bulls will also get sophomore Bobby Eveld prepared for what would be his second career start. Eveld filled in for Daniels last season in a late-season loss to Connecticut, though he struggled to move the ball after replacing Daniels early in the third quarter.

Daniels might have his inconsistencies, but he is still one of the more talented players the Bulls have. They would miss him greatly if he wasn't available.
