USF Vs. Syracuse: Bulls Hope To End Four-Game Slide

The Bulls' loss last week was their fourth straight. Can they end the streak and avoid dipping below .500 this Friday against Syracuse?

The South Florida Bulls (4-4, 0-4 Big East) visit the Syracuse Orange (5-4, 1-3) this Friday, Nov. 11, hoping to end their four-game losing streak which has them mired in the conference cellar. The Bulls can take heart in knowing less than one touchdown decided each of their last three defeats, but they're nonetheless stuck at .500 and needing a win to avoid falling even further behind.

The Bulls have won five of their six meetings with the Orange, but lost last season's matchup, 13-9, on a Ryan Nassib touchdown pass to Marcus Sales. Now a senior, Nassib ranks No. 2 in the Big East in completion percentage, as 64.9 percent of his passes have found their mark. He has 16 touchdowns to just six interceptions this season.

Syracuse has proven dangerous this season, blowing out the then-No. 11 West Virginia Mountaineers, 49-23, on Oct. 21. However, it's battled inconsistency issues, having lost each of its last two games since then.
