College Football Rankings: USF and Florida Move Up In Polls, FSU Holds Steady

After a week where USF, Florida, and Florida State all won comfortably against lesser competition, the Bulls and Gators were able to slowly move up in the AP and Coaches' Poll while the Seminoles held steady or barely dropped in both polls.

In the AP Poll, Florida State comfortably maintained their 5th place position while Florida and USF both moved up two positions to land at 16th and 20th place respectively.

In the Coaches' Poll, Florida State dropped one spot to number 5 after Boise State barely passed the Seminoles by only 3 points. Florida was able to move up one spot to number 17 while USF broke through the poll and leapfrog several teams who either won or had the week off to land at number 22.

Florida State and Florida both have a big chance to impress voters this week as they take on #1 Oklahoma and Tennessee. The FSU-OU game in Tallahassee in what is easily the marquee game this weekend, and Florida-Tennessee will always be a tough game for the Gators.

USF will be taking on FCS school Florida A&M, which won't win the Bulls any new votes unless someone ahead of them falls on Saturday.
