This weekend, the USF Bulls face off against Florida A&M in what should be an easy matchup. The Rattlers are an unranked team from the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference, and they've split their two games so far this season. Odds are that the Bulls are going to play plenty of their backups this week, and the highlight of the game could very well be the Rattlers' marching band The Fighting 100.*
↵*As a former band nerd myself, I approve. And also, why is it that great marching bands play for crappy football teams? I know that's not always the case, but it certainly happened to me plenty.
↵But anyway, just because the Rattlers will be an easy matchup doesn't mean that the Bulls can overlook them. The Bulls are ranked #20 right now in the AP Poll, and while a win this week won't bounce them any higher, they certainly don't want to get complacent. These are the games you have to win.
↵As such, Skip Holtz gave his weekly press conference yesterday, in which he provided a scouting report on Florida A&M's team. Thanks to Greg Auman from the St. Petersburg Times for the video:
↵↵Quick takeaways: Holtz wants his players to remain sharp despite the weak opponent; A&M has an athletic offense; and the Rattlers blitz a heck of a lot.
