USF Vs. Florida A&M: Daniels, Scott Run Wild As Bulls Lead 49-14 At The Half

There is an offensive clinic being performed in Tampa tonight, as the #20 USF Bulls have racked up over 500 yards of total offense on their way to a 49-14 halftime lead over the Florida A&M Rattlers.

B.J. Daniels has had another quality game for Skip Holtz's side, throwing for 355 yards and 4 touchdowns while also rushing for another touchdown. Daniels has distributed the ball to 8 different receivers, with Sterling Griffin leading the way with 6 catches for 75 yards and a touchdown. A.J. Love, Darrell Scott, and Andre Davis also caught a touchdown from Daniels this half. The touchdown by Davis was the first in his short USF career.

RB Darrell Scott is having by far his best game in his collegiate career. Scott has been dominant on the ground, gaining 113 yards and 2 touchdowns on just 10 carries in the first half. Scott has been overpowering the Rattlers front seven, only going down after 3 or 4 Rattlers combine on the tackle. Scott also had an 84 yard screen play go for a touchdown late in the 2nd half. The play was executed perfectly as Scott was untouched as he scampered down the field to make it 49-14.

For Florida A&M, QB Austin Trainor went 7-16 for 79 yards and 2 touchdowns in the first half. RB Levante Page caught the ball out of the backfield from 4 yards and Edmond Baker out jumped Quenton Washington to score a 32 yard touchdown early in the 2nd quarter.
