The South Florida Bulls picked up another Big East victory on Wednesday night as they dispatched the St. John's Red Storm 64-49 in the Tampa Bay Times Forum. The Bulls held a 27-22 lead at halftime, but poured on the points in the second half.
Forward Victor Rudd led South Florida in scoring with 24 points and also picked up 9 rebounds in the win, hitting on 5 of his 7 three-point shot attempts. Jawanza Poland also was able to pick up 16 points off the bench. For St. John's, Moe Harkless was their leading scorer with just 12 points as the Bulls defense stifled the St. John's offense.
With the win, the Bulls improved to 11-8 on the season and 4-2 in Big East play.
