The South Florida Bulls and Ohio Bobcats battled through a tough game all night long, with USF holding a 27-21 lead at the half, but the Bobcats weren't going down easy. The teams were tied late into the game when Ohio pulled out to a double-digit lead. The Bulls went on a little run and Victor Rudd Jr. hit a big three-pointer late in the game to put the Bulls down by just three points.
The Bulls next few shots didn't go in as another three-point rimmed out and the Bobcats made their free throws as USF began to foul. The Bobcats held on and make the trip to the Sweet Sixteen winning 62-56. Walter Offutt led Ohio in scoring with 21 points while D.J. Cooper added 19 points as the Bobcats get set to take on North Carolina later in the week.
