After surviving a trip to Nevada over the weekend with a one-point victory, the South Florida Bulls return home to host Rutgers on Thursday night. The game is the first of the Big East schedule for both teams, who each enter the game with a 2-0 record.
The Scarlet Knights have been lightly tested thus far this season, beating Tulane and Howard. Running back Jawan Jamison has been the key to the Rutgers offense in 2012. He has 222 yards and one touchdown on 28 carries this season.
South Florida has relied more heavily on the arm of B.J. Daniels. Through two games, he has 588 passing yards, six touchdowns and one interception.
